Ovan bilder från den slutliga presentationen av delprojektet, 300 vykort i ett vykortsställ utanför galleriet vid terminsutställningen på konsthögskolan. Hittills verkar det som att folk har tagit några stycken, vilket är själva poängen. Jag satte för säkerhets skull upp information om att det bara var att ta vykort, och om man vill - skriva under, frankera och sända in. Som syns på bilden här under så användes två kända oljeföretags logotyper som låtsasfrimärken.
Jag ska räkna hur många som är kvar efter utställningens sista dag imorgon, och fundera ut hur jag kan distribuera de kvarvarande.
Jag har tänkt en del vidare på det där med att mitt "budskap" om att kunna ifrågasätta varje idé och övertygelse eventuellt kom i konflikt med orginaluppgiften att få folk att skriva under en redan given politisk ståndpunkt. Lite tid har förflutit och jag känner fortfarande att jag står bakom dubbelheten, att den inte gör saken svagare utan tvärtom stärker den. Att den kan hålla vatten för den som tror på den.
On the top are two pictures from the final presentation of this part of the project, 300 postcards in a stand outside the gallery at the semester exhibition at the art academy. So far it seems like people have taken some, which is the whole point of the distribution. To make sure I put up information that one should feel free to take postcards, and if one wanted to - sign, stamp and send in. As seen on the bigger picture above two well knowned oil companies' logotypes were used as fake stamps.
I will count how many are left after the exhibition's last day tomorrow, and figure out how I will distribute the remaining.
I have given some thought to the eventual conflict between my "message" about being able to question every idea and belief and the original task to get people to sign on to an already given political standpoint. Some time has passed and I still feel that I stand behind the doubleness, that it does not in fact weaken the issue but on the contrary makes it stronger. That it can be waterproof for those who believe in it.
